plateau i suppose

So I don't know where to go after Call Someone Who Cares. It took up the last of the creative energy I got out of that hellish summer, and of course it used up that plot. It's the sum of my last year. There's nothing more to be said about it.. and it was really innovative for me, like really, so I don't know where to go from here. I don't want to do more in stream of consciousness because I need to get Rising out of my tone... but anything else feels like a step back. I didn't have this problem with Tale, because as far as style goes it was the same thing I'd been doing since I was ten, just better. But I don't know what to do. I'm playing with a bunch of tiny ideas that just kind of float around and never link up. I feel like i can sit on Call for awhile and wait for everything to catch up and get ahead of it.
